Difference between fractional distillation and destructive distillation in easy language​

Destructive distillation is the process of separation in which application of heat is done directly on the single-solid feed-stock to procure other components. So destructive distillation of coal will give us coal gas, coal tar, coke etc. While fractional distillation is based on difference in boiling points
