fragmentation is an asexual mode of reproduction resulting into numerous filents. further the each fragment grows into a matured filaments with the help of mitosis
regeneration is the capacity to replace the lost body part of an organism which take place in planaria the capacity to regenerate is very high among some animals they can reconstruct the entire body with the isolated body cells

Fragmentation :

The type of asexual reproduction in which the body of multicellular organism with simple body organisation like spirogyra break upon pieces called fragments upon maturation, is know as fragmentation.

Regeneration :

The type of asexual reproduction in which the simple multicellular organism like planaria with regenerative cells somehow get cut upon many pieces and each part grows into new individual.

The only main difference between fragmentation and regeneration is that in fragmentation the organism breaks upon into pieces upon maturation whereas in regeneration it is not on maturation.
