In soccer free kick occurs when an opponent occours a foul and player's team get a chance to win the ball
penalty means when foul occours inside penalty zone and player's team is awarded a free kick inside the penalty zone

Free Kick = It is given when Refree shows the warning card to the player. In this, foul has been committed outside the penalty area like intentional delay , international hit to the player, intentional handling the ball, charging,dangerous play , holding opponent from behind etc.
Penalty kick = A penalty kick is awarded when a foul is committed by a defender in the penalty area. The ball is placed on the penalty spot and the attacking player tries to kick it directly into the goal and goalkeeper defends it
