Freudian therapy is used to treat psychological or mental disorders, by making conscious, people’s unconscious thoughts. Also known as Psychoanalysis therapy, it is a way of releasing controlled emotions in people. Sigmund Freud (1856 – 1939) was an Austrian neurologist.

Adlerian therapy is a short-term talk therapy, based on psychoanalysis therapy. The focus is on inferiority/superiority complex, social and community involvement etc. Alfred Adler (1870 - 1937) had worked with Sigmund Freud, prior to moving out, to work independently.
