Fundamental physical quantities are those physical quantities which cannot be derived from the other physical quantities.

Eg : length, mass, time, temperature

Derived physical quantities are those physical quantities which are derived from the fundamental physical quantities

Eg: speed, speed = length x time

Speed derived from length and time which are fundamental physical quantities

Other examples of derived physical quantities are force, momentum, acceleration, pressure, etc
