fundamental quantities

Are those quantities which cannot be derived from any other existing quantities. They are independent. There are in total seven fundamental quantities length,mass,time,luminous intensity,angles(radians,staradians),mole.

derived quantities

Are those which are dependent and which are derived from fundamental quantities by applying basic and advanced operations on them.E.g velocity=displacement÷time etc

Derived Quantities➾

❃ These are the quantities obtained by combining fundamental quantities either by multiplication or division or both.

❃ These quantities depend upon fundamental quantities.

❃ EX:- Area, acceleration,volume, velocity etc...
