A galaxy is a vast collection of stars, dust and gases held together by gravitational attraction between it’s components.

A group of stars whose outlines form a recognizable figure is called a constellation.

Galaxies have two common shapes, spiral and elliptical. Some galaxies are of irregular shapes.

Constellations can be of any shape.
