general purpose software is created for general work and accessible for all people. e.g; microsoft word , it is used for diary entry, novel writing , making notes and etc . It is used by student , an employee or other persons according to his use.
when we go through special purpose application software, it is designed to do specific work and not accessible by all members. e.g; when we thik of a bank software its access is limited and it is of no use to a shopping mall or a railway or airlines.
