  • Oestrogen is secreted by the granular cells of graffian follicle.
  • It is made in the ovary in germinal epithelium tissue.
  • This follicle ruptures and releases ovary through the ovulation period.

Corpus Luteum:

  • It has the luteum cells, and fibrin.
  • Here the hormone called progesterone is secreted.
  • It is formed by the discharge of oocyte by the graafian follicle.
  • It is most important for pregnancy maintenance.
