one gram atom = atomic mass in gram
1 Mole = atomic mass in (u or g)

nymphias15: Okay then that means both mean the same?
subhajitdas007sbb: yes
subhajitdas007sbb: but unit matters
nymphias15: Please elaborate..
subhajitdas007sbb: I mean values will remain the same but u have to mention the unit while answering
nymphias15: Okaaay. I get it. Thanks so much buddy!

MOLE CONCEPT

mole is the unit of amount of substance which contain 6.022*10^23 particles.The particles can be atoms,Ions or molecules etc.

for example=one mole=6.022*10^23 electrons

                      one mole means a heap or a pile. 6.022*10^23 is called Avogadro number or Avogadro constant represented as n 0(n zero)

GRAM ATOMIC MASS

the atomic mass of an element expressed in grams is called gram atomic mass or simply written as 1 g atom= 1 mole of atom=n 0 number of atoms=6.022*10^23

example= atomic mass of hydrogen is

H=1

1 gram of hydrogen= 1 mole of hydrogen atoms=n 0 of hydrogen atoms which contains 6.022*10^23
