Gram Panchayat:
[] The members of the gram Panchayat are elected by gram sabha. In essence gram sabha functions as the general body of the gram Panchayat. All the adult men and women in the village registered as voters are members of the gram sabha.
[] Janapad Panchayat
It means local self governing bodies at the taluka level(an administrative district for taxation purposes, typically comprising a number of villages). There are many talukas in each district.
