FRICTIONAL FORCE
Friction is the resistive force which prohibits/opposes the movement of one object while rubbing on the surface of another object.
The magnitude of this force does not depend directly on the masses of the body in a mutual movement.
Its magnitude depends on other forces acting on either of the bodies or both of them in such a way that the net external force tries to move one of the body closer to the other body (frictional force increases in this case) or tries to pull it farther from the latter (frictional force decreases in this case).
GRAVITATIONAL FORCE
Gravity is the force of attraction applied on a body (no difference if the body is a living organism or an unanimated body) by the earth to pull it closer.
Its magnitude is decided based upon the mass of the earth and the mass of the body being pulled.
Its value does not change if a net external (other) force is acting on the body in question. Its value depends only on the mass of the earth, the mass of the body being pulled towards the earth and the distance between (the respective centres of gravity of) the two.
