That depends. Do you want to use that phrase as the whole sentence? Then use “Greetings for the day,” but some will at you oddly, as that's not common greeting.
If its part of sentence that depends on the sentence. "He was thanked for his greeting of the day." After her wedding, she met with everyone and gave each greetings for the day.
