Development is basically positive growth in addition to quality. Development means increase in overall well-being .growth  is usually used in reference to size or physical development . Development  overall is a more general and envelop term than growth

Answer: Development & Growth are often referred to as synonymous though they are different.

Explanation:

Growth only means physical growth of the body for eg: increase in size of the arms, legs, etc.

Where as development means improvement and and covers holistic areas

Like mental, social, physical, psychological growth of the individual.

Growth mostly takes place with development

But development may not go hand in hand with growth!
