difference between hardware and software

the physical components of computer which we can see and touch are called hardware devices.eg-keyboard

the components of computer which we can see but not touch or feel are called software .eg-windows

hardware are the parts of computer that can be touched.for eg.monitor, keyboard, mouse etc.
software are the programs processed in the computer.they can not be touched.
for eg.microsoft office word, internet explorer etc.
