Here are some differences between hardware and software:

HARDWARE
______________________

1.  It is any physical device used in or with your machine.

2. You can touch and see Hardware.

3. Examples: Monitor, CPU, Mouse etc.

SOFTWARE
______________________

1. It 
is a collection of code that makes up certain programs, installed onto your computer's hard drive.

2. You can see it only trough a monitor or a display device. It cannot be touched.

3. Examples: MS Office, Chrome, Paint etc.

hardware means a data which is printed on a paper or a data which we can hold or is a 3 d data . also called a hardcopy
software means data on computer. which we cant hold . also called softcopy
