Himalayas are young fold mountains formed in tertiary period while peninsula plateau are the oldest flat tableland feature nd formed much before Himalayas.
The Himalayan region is unstable landmass whereas peninsular region is very stable land masses.
Himalayas climate is permanent ice nd snow where as peninsular region experience tropical monsoon climate.
