House is a physical thing (building) that someone lives in.

But home is any place or location that we belong to. In the sense, we use home in a more personal and emotional way to refer to where we live the noun home not necessarily refers to a buidling.

Have ever heard people people saying "This is my hometown" or "This is small but it's my home"? (They never use 'house' in the place of 'home' in the given sentences)

So, We can say that a house can be a home but it's not necessary that a home will be house.
