Homagametes means two sex chromosome are same e.g XX

hetrogametss means two sex chromosome are different. e.g XY

Heterogametic means the two sex chromosomes of the organism are different (XY) whereas homogametic means that the two sex chromosomes of the organism are the same (XX).


Heterogametic sex is the sex that produces two different gametes, while the homogametic sex is the sex that produces identical gametes.
