→ When composition is uniform or same throughout then it is known as Homogeneous mixture.

→ It has no visible boundaries of separation between it's constituents, means it is difficult to tell which one is water or which one is sugar after mixing.

→ Ex :- Sugar solution, salt solution etc.


`\textbf{Heterogeneous mixture}`

→ If composition is not uniform throughout, then it is known as Heterogeneous mixture.

→ It has visible boundaries of separation between it's constituents, means they can be easily visible after mixing and also it is easy to tell which is salt and sugar.

→ Ex :- water and sand, oil and water, salt and sugar etc.
