Homogeneous Mixture :-

A mixture is said to be homogenous if all the components of the mixture are uniformly mixed and there are no visible boundaries of separation between them.

It is made up two or more substances when they are completely mixed together and do not react with each other.

Composition remains uniform throughout.

Component of the Mixture cannot be separated by visible boundaries.

Example: mixture of salt and water, ethanol with water.

Heterogeneous Mixture :-

A mixture is said to be heterogenous if all the components of the mixture are not uniformly mixed and there are visible boundaries of separation between between them

Substances remain separated from each other and one substance spreads throughly as tiny particles.

Composition doesn't remain uniform throughout.

Components of the mixture can be separated by visible boundaries.

Examples: Mixture of sand and sugar, chalk and water.
