Enzymes are the biological catalyst which speed up the rate of biochemical reactions without undergoing any changes while Hormones perform activity at some distance away from the site of origin.
They are not catalyst. It means that they simply initiate biochemical reactions.

{\red{\textbf{HORMONES}}}

Hormones perform activity at some distance away from the site of origin.

They are not catalyst. It means that they simply initiate biochemical reactions.

The hormones may be polypeptides,steroids,compounds or amines.

Hormones generally show polar translocation.

{\red{\textbf{ENZYMES}}}

Enzymes perform reactions at the place of origin that is in the cells where they are produced.

They are biological catalyst. It means that they catalyze the biological reactions.

Enzymes are proteins.(exception -ribozymes that is RNA with catalytic activity.)

Enzymes can’t translocate from one part to another part of cell.
