• General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) is a packet-switched cellular data technology that provides a maximum speed of up to 171.2 kbps.

• High-Speed Interchanged Data (HSCSD) is an increase in data transmission speed in GSM networks.
• HSCSD uses two methods to increase the data rate.
• First, HSCSD may use more than one timeslot. GSM uses Time Division Multiple Access ( TDMA ).
