HEY MATE HERE IS YOUR ANSWER:

Hypermetropia and Myopia , both are refractive defects in vision and are nearly opposite in nature. Below are the differences between the two . Inmyopia , a person is not able to see distant objects clearly. ... Hypermetropiamay be corrected using convex lens of suitable focal length .

Hey!

______________

Hypermetropia - :

• A person can see faraway objects but is incapable of seeing the object kept near his/her eyes.

• The image formed falls behind the retina of the person's eyes.

• Hypermetropia is caused when there is less convergence of light, or when the eye balls gets shortened.

• It is also known as far sightedness.

• It can be corrected by double convex lens (of suitable focal length, that depends.)

Myopia -:

• Individual is able to see the object kept near his/her eyes, but not the objects kept far away.

• The image formed falls in front of retina if the eyes of the person.

• Myopia is caused when there is larger convergence of eye or when the eye balls gets elongated.

• It is also called as short sightedness.

• It can be corrected by concave lens (of suitable focal length, that depends.)
