Hypermetropia ::-
1.) Also known as far sightedness .
2.) Hypermetropic person can see far away objects but can't see nearby objects.
3.) Caused due to ::-
(i) Increase in the focal length of eye.
(ii) Eyeball becomes too small.
4.) Convex lens is required to correct this defect.
Presbyopia::-
1.) Caused generally in old people ( aged above 40) .
2.) Presbyopic person can't see nearby objects distinctly as well as far away objects distinctly.
3.) Caused due to weakening of ciliary muscles due to which the eye lens cannot focus on an object and the focal length of eye keeps on changing.
4.) Bi-focal lens is required to correct this defect. ( it is the lens where on the upper side , there is concave lens and on lower part there is Convex lens)
