Explanation:

ICD (Inland Container Depot) is temporary storage for import/export laden and empty containers. According to the guidelines of Indian Government, functionally there is no difference between CFS and ICD . While CFS is an off dock facility located near the servicing port, ICD is generally located outside the port towns.
