idealism is a philosophical attempt in which the real thing is considered to be mentally created while naturalism is also a philosophical attempt which portraits or shows the power or process of governing the world via a natural troop. realism is a doctrine that deals with things which are real(reality) while pragmatism is simply opposite of idealism. Hence, we should note that idealism deals with mentality entities while naturalism deals with existing reality that are governed by troops

Idealism focuses on a spiritual outlook and emphasizes on the existence of God. According to this concept, God is the creator of the universe. Thought and mind are considered to be real entities.


Naturalism focuses on a materialistic outlook and does not believe in the existence of God. According to this concept, universe is created by the readymade nature. Nature is the sole real entity.


Pragmatism focuses on a social outlook and believes partly in the existence of God. According to this concept, universe is created by mankind. Reality is an evolving process with society at the base and no fixed values.


Realism focuses on material world and does not believe in God’s existence. According to this concept, the relationship between cause and effect, as well as physical laws are universal and attitude is scientific. There is belief in comfortable living and material prosperity.
