Miscible implies that liquids mix to form a homogeneous mixture in all proportions. Immiscible is defined as the opposite, they don't mix. Water is miscible in a variety of liquids, but immiscible in oil. I hope this helps!

Miscible liquids are liquids which mix with each other well like water.

Immiscible liquids are liquids which do not mix with each other like oil.
