Individual Series :-
In an individual Series, data is in raw form and presented individually. It gives numeric value for a specific situation.
For example -
Following are the marks secured by the students of a class - 22, 23, 29, 25, 27, 20, 24, 26, 19, 17
Discrete Series :-
On the other hand, in discrete series, data is presented in form of exact measurement and every item takes a definite value. The important thing about discrete series is that the variables involved in the series have integer value.
For example -
Income Number of Persons
2000 7
2500 6
3000 4
3500 8
4000 5
4500 3
5000 2
