Difference between individual wall method and centre line method:

Centre line method:

• The total central line length is multiplied by the breadth and the depth of the thing to be estimated.

• The junctions and joints of cross-walls are studied carefully to calculate the center line.

• The average length of the middle line of walls of a structure is first measured in this system of calculation and the center line length with the width and depth of the individual item is then averaged to obtain the total amount at the same time.

Individual wall method:

• Individual wall method or long and Short wall method is a method to estimate the quantity of matter and materials for construction.

• In this method, the central line lengths of the wall, along the length of the room, and the 'short wall perpendicular' to the long wall should be calculated.

• The long wall is estimated by adding 'breadth at each end' to its centerline length.
