Infectious diseases are caused by microscopic germs (such as bacteria or viruses) that get into the body and cause problems. Some — but not all —infectious diseases spread directly from one person to another. Infectiousdiseases that spread from person to person are said to be contagious.

Contagious And Communicable Are Almost the same but,

Contagious Diseases spread to another living organism through direct method . For eg: Consider Someone Having Measles , It Can Get Transferred to Another person only if He/she have a close attachment with the victim.

Communicable diseases Are Those Which Get transferred to another by direct or indirect method. For Eg: Consider A Person having high cold and cough, if the victim sneezes or coughes then the other person sitting or standing beside him/her will also get the same as viruses from the victim will spread through air and will get into another person from nose .

infectious diseases are those which gets transferred to the other person in the form of Touch. and therefore , the person who have been touched will get infected.

Thanks ! Hope It Helps.
