The difference between the Inner planets and Outer planets are-
a. Inner planets are those which lie with in the belt of asteroids, where as outer planets are outside the belt of asteroids.
b. Inner planets are comparatively smaller than the outer planets.
c. The inner planets are Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars. On the other hand the outermost planets are Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.
d. Inner planets are terrestrial planets where as the outer planets are gas giant planets.
