difference between input and output devices

input devices means which recieve our instructions into the computer for example keyboard,mouse,joystick but output devices shows us the result or gives is for example printer,monitor

input devices are used to feed data/instruction in a computer whereas output devices are used to get the processed result.
ex-input devices-keyboard,mouse
output devices-monitor printer.
