Answer:

Here is the answer...!!

Explanation:

Semiconductors can be broadly classified into Intrinsic and Extrinsic Semiconductors.

Germanium and silicon are intrinsic. They are pure semiconductors.  At finite temperatures the only charge carriers are the electrons in the conduction band and the holes in the valence band that arise as a result of the thermal excitation of electrons to the conduction band. These charge carriers are called intrinsic charge carriers, and necessarily there are equal numbers of electrons and holes. Pure silicon is therefore an example of an intrinsic semiconductor.

Extrinsic is nothing but doping with impurities

so simple to remember..listen

two types of extrinsic semiconductors

(i) n-type, (ii)p-type

n-type doped with pentavalent impurities(phosphorus,indium)

p-type doped with trivalent impurities( aluminium, boron)

doping is adding impurities..

thank you

mark me brainliest(i typed the whole stuff)

Answer:

Intrinsic motivation involves doing something because it's personally rewarding to you. Extrinsic motivation involves doing something because you want to earn a reward or avoid punishment.
