ionisation energy - the energy required to remove last e from 1 mol of any substance only in gaseous state !

electronegativity - the ability of atom to attract the shared pair of e towards it

electron affinity - the ability to keep the electron with it

the sign of electronegativity is reversed to get electron affinity ..

( more or less , the terms r interchanged by some )

for all above cases related Q u should remember , the 2 conditions :-
