isotopes have same atomic number but different atomic mass number
isobars have same atomic mass number but different atomic number

isotopes are formed only when there is 2 different mass number for a single element.
Eg.Cl35,Cl37
iso bars are formed only when there is 2 different atomic number for a single element.
