difference Between ITBP and AR

The biggest difference is in the highest controlling authority. The Armed Forces, namely, the Army, Navy and Air Force are controlled by the Ministry of Defence while the PMFs like the BSF, ITBP etc are controlled by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
