dear friend,
once a transaction is recorded in the general journal , the amount are then posted to the appropriate account.
account such as ( cash, account receivable , equipment , account payable , sales , telephone , etc ) . are contained in general journal.
the account posted individual is known as ledger. it is a principal book.
