The difference between kharif and rabi crops are :-
Kharif - > It starts from the onset of monsoon in June up to the beginning of winter in November and December . Major crops grown in this season are rise , maize , jowar , bajra , cotton , sesame , groundnut and some pulses like moong , urad , etc.
Rabi -> This cropping season starts from the beginning of winters and continues up to the starting of summer season . Major crops grown in this season are wheat , barley , jowar , grams , and oilseeds such as mustard , linseed , etc.
