The Legislative Assembly is also referred to as Parliament or the Legislature. The Executive is often referred to as Cabinet or Government. The Legislative Assembly represents the people and makes the laws, while the Executive executes and administers the laws and sets policy.
Legislature makes the law, executive executes the Law and judiciary is to resolve any disputes arising within public or within legislature, executive and even between states in India

Welfare of People - Like Land Reforms Act, Motor Vehicles Act, Employee Compensation Act etc
Deterring wrongdoings - Criminal Law, Negotiable Instruments Act, COFEPOSA etc
filling its treasure - Tax Law, Customs, etc
