Land pollution: Land pollution is contaminating the land surface of the earth thorugh dumping of urban waste matter and it arises from the breakage of underground storage tanks, application of pesticides and percolation of contaminated surface water, oil and fuel dumping, leading of wastes from land fills or direct discharge of industrial wastes to the soil.
