- latitiudes is the term that describe how far south or north from the equator the location is.
- latitudes are also called parallels
- examples..the latitudes of island are 20 degree south.
- our position is latitude 30 degree north.
longitudes:)
- longitudes is used to describe far east or west it is located from imaginary line that connects the north and the south poles.
- longitudes are also called maradian
- examples..the town is at longitude 28 degree west..
- all places on the same maridian have same longitude.
