difference between leucoplast and chromoplast

Leukoplast can change to other types of plastids but chromoplasts can't. 4. Leukoplasts take part in food storage but chromoplast gives colour to attract pollinators. Leucoplast - 1) They are colourless plastids. 2) Leucoplast usually occur in unexposed parts of plants.

Leucoplasts are colourless plastids found in plant cells, used for the storage of starch or oil.

Chromoplast are coloured plastids (except green). Their function is to impart colour to fruits and flowers to attract animals for pollination.
