Answer:

Marxism was to do with communism, socialism and the redristrubution of capitol to eliminate the classes and hand powers back to the workers it was a historical idea.liberalism and leftism are different thing liberals understand that capitalism has lifted millions out of poverty and liberals believe in the U.S constitution and freedom. Leftists are the people who violently riot when Hillary didn't win the election and it's leftists not liberals who push political correctness. Marx was never violent in his protests or ideologies but leftists do. However leftists do fight for socialism so leftists and Karl Marx both do fight for common economical goals. Leftists and Karl Marx disagree on gun laws. Leftists strongly oppose these whereas Karl Marx supported gun rights.

Liberalism is a politcal outlook that might or might not exist within a democratic society, though usually does. It can be split into two main forms: social and fiscal.Social liberalism tends to rest on the notion that freedom and equality should be maximised outside of actions that negatively affect others. This means that policies such as legalising cannabis, allowing abortion, and having same-sex marriage are liberal in nature. Social liberalism is, depending on who you talk to, inclusive of or confused with progressivism. Progressivism is the belief that new ideas and solutions should be adopted, policies such as reducing climate change are progressive in nature.
