Difference between like fraction and unlike fraction?

The fractions with the same denominator are called like fractions.
Example: 2/13 and 8/13.

The fractions with different denominators are called unlike fractions.
Example: 3/7 and 6/17.

like fractions are the fractions which have the same kind of the denominator.

unlike fractions :
unlike fractions are the fractions in which have the different denominators.

examples :
like fraction :
3/4 and 7/4
unlike fractions : 4/8 and 9/4
