The line Editor was also known as The Ed software which is used to edit, alter and modify the lines of the concerned text in an individual recognize and edit mode. This was introduced by Ken Thompson in 1969 for UNIX for the singular line based editing. The screen editor on the other hand uses visual graphics oriented modes to view and edit the concerned. It's comparatively more swift than the Ed and is sometimes also known as the VI software.
