Hi there

Linear motion refers to a motion in a straight path whereas circular motion refers to motion in a circular path. ... But in circular motion the person will always experience acceleration because direction of the person is always changing. Example of linear motion - a car moving in a straight road.

Answer:

Linear motion is also called rectilinear motion. It is a motion on a straight line in one-dimension. When the object travels along a straight line it changes its position along with time. It is an object, which doesn’t affect by the only force that can proceed in a circular motion that permanently, per Newton’s First Law of Motion.

Circular motion is an object’s moving across a circle or movement across a circular direction. It has a rotation around a fixed axis of the object which is three-dimensional and it involves circular motion of all its

parts.
