Kali Linux is especially for forensic and pentration testing , not for home use like windows

Where as boss is developed (customized ) by DRDO , unfortunately we didn't have our own operating system developed in-house , and who knows roots of operating system , developer only can keep some backdoor to monitor our govt activities hence DRDO took Linux code , they went through each and every line and did some changes and published as BOSS . And now govt is planning implement the same for all govt offices

Kali Linux is a specially built Linux based distro for network penetration testing and hacking just like BlackArch, Cyborg Linux and BlackBuntu.

BOSS on other hand is a poorly maintained Debian based distro made for general use with outdated kernel, outdated Gnome version and outdated Gnome apps. It lacks WayLand support and is better be avoided as there are plethora of distros like Fedora, Ubuntu, Open Sure which are leagues ahead of it.
