The difference between hand wash and sanitizer is that with handwash, you are actually washing your hands cleansing them of dirt by applying the hand wash on wet hands and rubbing them together to suds up the handwash rubbing the dirt off your hands and rinsing it off with water. With sanitizer, you don’t wash your hands, you are just killing bacteria on your hands and you don’t wash it off you just rub the sanitizer in to your skin until it is dry, and this is the important part because remember it is alcohol based and highly flammable which means if it isn’t dry and you play with fire, you are risking setting your hands alight!
