ABOVE refers to water in the atmosphere in a liquid or gaseous state. Lithosphere is outermost part of Earth surface consisting of the crust and the upper Mantle whereas the term hydrosphere refers to all the water bodies present in the Earth's surface i.e., lakes, pond, etc.
